Mid year.

The louvers were in the same announcement as Panther Pink & Green Go paint;

I always thought a vinyl top had to ordered to get louvers? I see the Challenger brochure has them on a hard top?

Plenty of 1970 Challengers exist with louvers & painted tops.

But if a vinyl top was ordered with louvers, it had to be black.

I did not know. How about Barracudas? Was it the same?

It has come up here before, but no one has come up with the Barracuda info yet as far as I know.

For every 1970 Barracuda / Cuda I have recorded with the louvers so far, they do all have black vinyl tops.

I also know of four factory 'mistake' cars, the louver packages included dual mirrors, but I know of four AAR Cudas coded for the single mirror & built that way so far.

What's going on with the Challenger and R/T emblems on the left side. I kind of like it

4 speed "Custom-Grip Shifter"
When did the Pistol Grip name come along?
Was "Pistol Grip" originally a term that the buying public came up with, then the factor started using it?
