(sigh) Just because something happened a couple times in the past doesn't mean it will happen all the time in the future. Conversely just because something has never happened in the past doesn't mean it won't happen in the future. (sigh)

Ok, I have never PERSONALLY broke any. Is that good enough for you Nancy's?

Nope , I get lambasted because I'm not a lover of Cheap Chinese Junk.

Why ?

Because I have never owned any of a particular companies brand of Cheap Chinese Junk ...

Going with that mindset of the rabid sword swallowers , if you haven't used the repop manifolds , because we know how much you hate many reproduction parts , you are not allowed to comment.

I have been banned because of it , and threatened to be banned because of it ...

But don't worry , I'll be banned before you are .....

I'm going to speculate that the ears got broken off from someone trying to tighten them until they would seal. Fact is there is an underlying design problem. OE manifolds have a rounded "half donut" type of surface for the headpipe to attach to. Repro's have a tapered style. Most repro headpipes have the correct "half donut" sealing end made on them, so if you connect them to an OE manifold you will not have an issue getting them to seal. With Repro manifolds, good luck getting them to seal up to the headpipe!
