I use A-body fenderwell headers in my 64 B-body but the motor is set back 3 1/2", if not thay would hit the tires The 65 or 66 B-body has the motor further back. What year header are thay useing?

I've got a set on my 383 in my 68 Dart,
Con- Saved alot of $$$$$$

I did soome research and even the A body Big Block headers guys had to dimple them for clearance, I think we had two spots we dimpled and small dimples not crush half the tube off.

I have manual steering ans brakes so the power stuff was not an issue, if I remember correctly the B body headers will not work if you have power options on your car.

Here is the webpage.
http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/BBody.shtml

Putting them on a victor headed low deck might be a challenge. Plus, why would you want to put 1 3/4 headers on a potentially heavy breather?

From the picture it looks like a set of stock motor mounts.I have a set of the heddman headers and a 71 demon I would be very happy to have this as an option because an $800 set of TTI's is a little pricey if this will truly work. I think my headers have the same tube configuration,I will have to check.

The Hedman headers are supposed to fit, the Hooker headers do not fit.

I ended up keeping my Hooker Super Comp fender
well headers and they seem to work OK.

I had 1-3/4 hedmans on my 383 Duster, elephant ears, coil overs, no torsion bars, the collectors were very close to the trans, i had to heat and dimple them to clear proper.
