I know there's always big claims in new racing oils, but has anyone here ever tried this stuff?

It works good, picked up 10 HP on a 600HP sb mopar...same viscosity!

Use their 5-20 break-in oil...you can get 20-25 passes on it. It's very good!

I need the heavier oil due to spraybar oiling. 55lbs thru the traps and 20@idle hot. normaly use amsoil dominator 15/50, but thinking about trying the LAT next season.

It is good oil you gain horsepower. The down side to it that I found was when you are double entered running a pro and a super class it tends to get thin quick with heat. I noticed the second run it would always pick up .03. I was running the 20w50. I have since switched to the Joe Gibbs Driven oil same viscosity with better consistency.

never tried the joe gibbs oil, but that's good to know. the amsoil 15/50 holds good viscosity also.

2.)Torco
3.)Brad Penn
4.)LAT
5.)Red Line

Torco synthetic we had in one of our race engines. Nothing wrong with the Torco though...great protection from that oil and that's all we use.
I tried the LAT a couple of times, picked up power always but not enough for me to change over to it...mostly because of cost. The Torco does a great job and is less than 10.00 a QT.

Sound like the LAT is a great oil for the guy that wants to set low et or needs a little extra for the money pass in a pinch. Not something for a bracket racer or someone that goes a few thousand miles before pulling a drain plug.

at that price it should come with $ex.

It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

That's a pretty good gain from synth to synth.

I have a buddy that runs in a dirt roundy round crate motor class that saw that kind of gain going to Mobil 1 from conventional oil.
