I've heard a gooseneck from a BMX bike works, should be easy to find and cheap.

i have had good success with unbolting the LCA pin, strut rod and lower ball joint and whacking the LCA with a dead blow, or when i had a lift, the same + prying with a 2x4 pushing the LCA and t-bar rearward.

the tool that clamps to the t-bar is the quickest though,

If the bars are junk....I cut it in two just before the LCA. Then air hammer from the back side of bar pushing it out the front side. I hammered on it for hours til Igave up on saving the bar and went this way.

It was out in 5 mins with clean up....

I've always just used a couple of 1" rope clamps. Doesn't hurt the bars and gives a good surface for the hammer.

Tried looking for this, didn't see much, and what I did, couldn't see where you'd have some surface area to hit it?
Got a link?

Here's a pic of a bike gooseneck that might work.

I made this out of some junk laying around in the garage.
Worked like a charm.

And I'm lucky enough to have the real thing which I never use anymore.

$10 or so from Grainger. There is not a lot of hammering area, but they have always worked for me. Heck, I beat on the nuts as much as the clamps base. Doesn't seem to hurt them none. The pair I have are probably 40 years old and have pulled a good dozen sets of bars.

As mentioned above, I loosen the lower control arm nut and pry the the lower control arm back and whack the clamps.

Although it is probably not necessary, I clamp 2 clamps back to back against each other for more clamping force. One would likely be enough for most bars.

Master, again and still
