put floors in the mod top satellite so I can move it out under the carport area so I can move the belvedere over and pull the motor/trans/heim adj upper control arms and adj strut rods to put under the newly acquired 72 cuda, its also getting more tire, less weight and who knows what else. then ill put a car cover on the belvedere and shelf it for a year or so til I can afford a 3rd gen hemi to put the belvedere back on street duty

Here you go all spooled up, outside shot. Still looks the same just a wee bit lighter with the wedge until the molten lead started flowing… There was a thread on here a while back when I built it with the hemi, I think it was called SS/DA cuda progress. Thanks

Hey Tom are you keeping it tagged to drive on the street any ? Ron

With the year almost gone what your plans for 2015? My beater is winterized and sitting in the garage. It won't need much to go. I hope to keep getting stronger so the docs will clear me to drive again. It sure has been a rough and bumpy road indeed!! Ya gotta take the good days and the bad. So let's hear what your plans are. Gonna step it up? Good luck everyone and have a great Holiday season! Ted

Besides trying to make my race car more consistent, gotta get a lick in to this.

Was kicking around a lot of ideas as to where to go next with my car; even looking at adding nitrous. (Like most hot rodders, constantly looking to go faster) Then it donned on me: Disc Brakes. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a front disk conversion this winter.

Late A-body is a easy bolt on.

Merry Christmas

My plans....Build a new engine for my Cuda....Would really like to do something different, but lack of seeing a combo I like better than a big cube Hemi is tough to beat.

G3 Hemis are cool, but NA seem a little low on HP for what I want. Probably still going to BGR to go this route.

Was considering a boosted one, but can't find any good examples of one. Would love to see one with a 4.0L whipple on it and what HP it makes...

Been eye-balling the used Indy G3 Hemi's, but 600hp is not going to do it.

I have the 588 cu Hemi out of the Cuda with no plans for it if you are still looking for something. Shaker to oil pan with headers made 850hp 730tq. Pm me for more details if you are interested.

Ron, I won't be street driving it anymore with the SS motor in it. We still have my wife's street car.

No real big changes in the car this winter, except for a new lexan windshield to replace the old scratched 15 year old one and freshened the E85 carb and installed the super victor intake back on,,,I did purchase a new LM-2 a/f meter and will attempt to get this system dialed in the right way instead of the hit or miss system that I have used for years with limited success.

It's taken me a lot longer to put my car back on the street than it did to make it a race car..That being said,I changed my combo a bit.. going with a tad more compression and less cam.NEW rods too.Still need to put in lower control arm bushings and a few other small things (mount new seats, wire in turn signals/brake lamps)Then I can run this thing at the track and see what it will do,and make sure its ready to drive on the street with no problems.

Dartman366 I am very disappointed that you did not post a thread about you tearing either the front half or the back half off of your car this fall.
