When I bought my 70 coronet a couple years back it had 275/60/15 in front and back on steelies. It would kiss the middle of the fender on turns hitting bumps and cracked the center of the fender on both sides. I guess torsion bars could have been raised to fix that. It also wore a bare metal spot on the frame on both sides from full turns by the time I got it home 1000 miles. I would never put those on the front of a mopar, I was quick to take them off. But It could be done I guess. Here is a pic when they were on it

I had some already mounted on stock 7" steelies, so i threw them on the 72 Charger all 'round. They rubbed a bit up front (not enough to matter), but i didn't like the look. Wide = good. Tall = no. A 275/60 is not a Nascar shaped tire. 255 is too small. A 295/55 would be perfect i think for the LOOK... though it'd rub a bit too.

I've always run 275/60/15 Comp T/A's on my C-bodies... even collected a veritable pile ov them too. No issues at all. Still a bit too tall a profile for my liking, but the 28" does at least look right on the big C's.

I agree they are a bit tall to look real good, but that's just IMO.

Mickey Thompson SR, 26x12 is around a 305r45x15, a 26x10 would be a 260r50x15
