Boy........... Just dreaming... ..... If this head indeed is only just as good as Brett noted.... Still good steam.
I just let slip by my grasp a virgin 4 bolt X block. Was offered it for 1300 bucks.
Kinda got tired of waiting on this head.
Anyhow good block, that head, 4150 carb, a 4.125 crank kit from Rod, and a streetable roller a guy could take a typical A body and have a 9 sec pump gas grocery getter, without working up too much of a sweat.
For an old schooler, a good( hopefully) nice casting is welcome news.
Sure wouldn't be cheap, but at least the heads hopefully won't be water fountains.
Cool old school is mighty appealing to old goats like me.

So did the heads make it to the PRI show?

Saw a picture on fb that Mancini posted of the SB Victors at the Edelbrock display.

The Pro Port castings are supposed to be available in February. The CNC'd head on display had an intake port in it that wasn't in too good of shape, best bet would be to wait for Brett to do a program for them.

Apologies for the less than quality pic.

Hopefully you don't need a program for an already CNC'd head. I hope its maybe just a slight hand touch-up.

A 2.15" intake valve on a small block Mopar? Makes me wonder what the minimum bore sized will be. I hope it doesn't make the block issues worse

No they had two heads there. The guy that designed them said they are being machined right now. Said they had thirty set in the shop geting done.

The flow numbers are from our bench based on the prototype head we were given and also some flow numbers given to us by Edelbrock. We have been working with them on this head for several years.
