If these #s are correct these puppies are in W8-9 territory. I better wait before I bolt the Indys on the new R3 shortblock I have on the stand right now!!

Even though they are in W9 territory they are a 59° Head ,well they pull the same RPMs as a 48° block?

Ritter block is available.

I know of one that has $9000 worth of machine work and it still won't run and they have given up.

Just make it bigger, like 440-470 ci and you don't have to worry about the RPMs. It will make a ton of torque, more horsepower and operate in the same RPM range.

Very nice numbers.......definitely enough air to saw a stock block in half with the right corresponding components.

I have seen some pretty high numbers of this bench, would like to see some others flow them. Can't wait to see some on track numbers in hands of racers.

When I had my R3 sonic checked the Machinist told me it would go 4.125 easy. 4.125 X 4.250 BPE crank = 454.38 ci. A Siamese R3 will go 4.200 to 4.250. 4.250 x 4.250 = 482.33 ci. Don't tell me this would be too expensive, you are wasting your time if you use heads that flow like this with out spending some money to make them shine.

The exhaust numbers are pretty weak compared to the intake side. I don't know how you can justify the productionof a new head that would still be that weak on the eexhaust.

I am real interested to see what these heads will do once some of the porting wizards on this site get their hands on them. If they are that good who knows what effort was put into them to get the numbers we are seeing. Its nice to see something that may be close to Max effort available for 59*. I think these may be a good replacement for the Indy 245 CC square port lawn sprinklers.

Nice numbers for a decent build, but nowhere near a killer W8.

A W8 will support 1000+ with a cast single at 420ci.

Look at his own car, 3235 lbs Cuda with indy 245 heads went 5.62 to the eight which is faster then the fastest nitrous hemi in country. He was shooting 150 the hemi is shooting 400 and only went 5.71. Proof is in a time slip not a dyno.

Sorry fixed it, typo. When they get the rockers figured out on the hemi it will be a good race motor.

now T&D is making a nice rocker arm for the hemi.and harlem sharp has a new version seems to work well.I don't think it's fair that we compare a performance w series or aftermarket Indy head to a production Gen 3
