doing research for a relative for a nice street/strip Hemi. he's going to use the Edelbrock victor hemi heads. the question is,
1. what out there as far as rocker arms for use with a solid roller between .700-.750 lift? how much are they?

2. can he use a Indy tunnel ram with the Eddy hemi heads?

I have a .600 lift solid roller in my demon and use the dick Landy roller rockers. I bought them from Mancini racing a few years back for 2100

Spend the money on good rockers, Kluff, StageV, Landy...If they are 10 bolt intake head, most intakes will interchange. Tim

I bought the Stage V rockers and I am well pleased with them. I got these from Bob Mazolini.

Buy Stage V rockers and get the stands, chrome shafts, bolts, springs and anodized shaft plugs from Keith Black.

Edelbrock heads take the standard intakes so if the Indy tunnel ram is for standard heads you are ok.

Hey, what cubic inch are you going to build? The reason I ask is a 700-750 solid roller on the street? Thats pretty big. Also what kind of hp are you looking to get out of it. The last one I built with a 740 solid roller ported mopar alum heads & 12 to 1 comp. with a stage V intake made 836hp with 730 tq. A good set of stock rockers,

All you need for .700-.750 lift with lash caps. Stage V's are nice but way overkill for what you're doing. Unless you're starting from scratch and don't already have stock rockers, then the larger investment makes more sense. I ran stock rockers with Crane 296-.4778 blower cam in a drag boat late 80's, 8500-8800 in the traps, never had any problems, stockers are more than adequate for street-strip.

As Ronny posted, a stock set will work. The down side about stockers are finding a set that's got decent rocker ratio. I'm running a set of old SS stock rockers that run from 1.63 to 1.69 intake and 1.49 to 1.53 exhaust. The average set of stockers are not even close but they oil pretty well. Dave
