# 7&8 rod bolts are kissing the cylinder bores , do i chamfer the rod bolts or take the rods/pistons & crank out to clearance the walls.

Sorry... try to get then ALL about .045" clearance.
If that one pair is hitting, I'm thinking the others
are real close

Yep , will clearance all of em , the old eagle rods cleared the walls fine , these K1s sit a tad higher on the caps.

The piston skirt comes out the hole a fair way (4.625 stroke), so was tryin to avoid cutting the walls any.

Steel rods and bolts, .030 works also, helps keep the oil off of the rotating assembley a little like a crankshft scraper
