Sorry for the double post, I should have posted in the engine section here first!
I just wanted to know if these Can be used in place of stock factory 426 hemi rocker assemblies? Not odd or modified/special stands? Would be going on a set of mopar performance aluminum heads. Any special oiling required? Will they fit under stock steel black wrinkle covers...good choice for a 426/472 stroker?

thats what I'm running except I have stock stands, will fit the valve covers no problem , the valve spring/ retainer combo is what hits the valve cover.

They don't oil the rollers too well when the engine is cold. The oil hole for the roller end is on the shaft area of the rocker. I had problems burning up rollers until I did the following upon Mike Landy's advice:
Cut a groove in the #4 cam journal to provide full time oil to the rocker gear; use 10w40 or 5w30 oil so it thins out faster. Plus I did my own modification to the rockers by using a die grinder to cut a banana shape in the bushing so the oil hole is getting oil through most of the rockers arc. That solved the problem.
Below is a pic of my engine running with the valve cover off before the modifications. This is after 5 minutes of warming up the engine, and the oil is warming up and starting to squirt. When it is cold, it just droobles out and does not squirt. You can see the squirt of oil, not really aimed at the roller. Landy told me that it needs to bounce off the valve cover and back onto the roller.

They don't quite fit under a stock cover.

I see you have collars rather than springs too.....Why? Are collars better than springs? I've never seen these collars for sale, where to get them?

Take care,

I use the DLI rollers rockers on my 572 hemi. Built it in 2006 and never had a problem w/ anything. Using the blue MP aluminum stands...no reason you can't run the stock stuff. Has a BUNCH of street miles and 1/4 passes on it.

I replaced my wide pad re-ratiod rockers with the Mopar performance/landy roller tip rockers.New rockers so far have not lost adjustment and I have the covers off regularly.
