Wondering if anyone can help me. I'm curious to know what the production numbers were on my car. Can only seem to find a general list. Nothing with specific breakdown and options. I have a 1970 challenger convertible. Came with a 340 engine auto transmission w/ floor shifter rally dash, power windows, power top, air conditioning, se belt trim. Se rear finish panel. Silver argent front grille and headlight buckets. White interior, front disk brakes and a rally hood. Also would be interested in how much its worth(not that I would sell it). I bought it 27 years ago with 21,000 miles on it(still has 21,000 on it). Been in the garage the whole time, ive never had it on the road yet. There is no rust on it at all. Still has a 1979 inspection sticker on it.
Thanks; Mike. Also Would like to know the production numbers of the same car with a pistol grip 4-speed

Numbers by option for your car exist, but only for US-spec cars, just like the numbers posted above.

Additionally, you cannot combine options - the numbers quoted will be only for a respective individual option.

Was an automatic when I bought it. Had the pistol grip 4-speed put in 25 years ago because that's what I wanted and didn't ever plan on selling the car. Regret it a little ,but not totally. Love having the 4-speed in it

Interesting sounding car. I have a '70 Challenger vert with similar options except its a 383 4 barrel. My car and the other ones I've seen that have lots of dress up options like the rear finish panel and belt moldings like found on SEs, and power options like PW and AC usually seem to be executive lease or public relations cars. Check the VON on your fender tag to see if it starts with a "Q". It would also be on your build sheet if you are lucky enough to have that.
Some oil leaks on my car are getting bad enough that I only drove it a few times this season, which bummed me out. I can't imagine 27 years, you gotta get it back on the road!

Interesting thread. Based on GG's "white book", mine is 1 of ~7 built. Sadly though, the prior owner opted to make so many mods during the "resto", that to return the car to factory original would NOT be cost effective (IMO).

Sorta weird optioned car. Convertible, biggest motor for non R/T, rallye gauges, console, power top...but MANUAL drums, MANUAL steering.

I'm with you on the insurance beater. But thought with the power top, console, instruments they would have got power steering or power brakes.

I think they were looking to cut insurance costs and initial purchase price costs. Someone just picking the specific things important to them.

A buddy of mine bought a B5 Barracuda convertible with a 318 3-speed and console. It was a survivor and when he sold it the guy made another Hemi Cuda clone.

You never know, just because i haven't seen one dosen't mean it's not out there, like the 69 b body shop manual shows a shifter delete plate for a console but i have never seen one!

That was a '66 piece, for the Chargers, Coronet 500s, & Satellites that had a console STANDARD. 3-spd manual on the column was also STANDARD but rarely seen.

Ola Nilson "Cudaized" on here maintains an E-body convertible registry. Obviously he doesn't have all E-body convertible cars in it, but he does have a pretty detailed spreadsheet of cars and options. He may be able to answer in more detail. And I'm sure he'd love to add your car to the registry.

Your's is the only manual trans JH27N0B Challenger convertible I've heard of that's surfaced. Out of 38 cars, there has to be a few more out there somewhere!
I'd like to find one someday to keep my 1 of 84 automatics example company in my garage.

At least two with D13 still exist.
