From watching the video it looks like there is not enough travel in the front suspension... Calvert will tell you that you need at least 5" of travel in the front. Tighten the rear shocks and getting some travel in the front will surely help a bunch.

Wow good looking dart!! That is what my car looked like when I got it. Just had a vinyl top. Good luck with it.
Thanks Brad. It's morphed quite a bit. The next stage should be good. matt
BTW: Anybody have a quarter panel "T"?

Yeah, Drag Radials & sticks do not go together all that well. Radials like to stay planted & are not forgiving like a slick. You can tune it eventually to get it to some what work.
A clutch slipper can really help make drag radials compatible with a manual trans. Just an extra 1/10th of a second of clutch slip can reduce the drivetrain's shock from clutch engagement by appx 50%.
Here's a link to a very effective clutch slip controller that you can put together for under $50... DIY clutch slipper

FYI you will need a shorter cylinder if you want to hide it under the dash of an a or b body. Works good on the street also! I suggest calling M&H for drag radials on a stick car.
