Hello, Is there anyone who sets up six pack carbs so when you first start a"NEW REBUILT ENGINE" that there isn't any issues?
Unless that "individual" has YOUR engine on THEIR dyno, and is installing the actual carbs intended for use, the answer is NO, sure they can do an initial set up at their shop it may be on the likes of a mule engine (chevy 350?, Ford?, maybe a Mopar?) or a flow bench....
Setting up a sixpack is one of the things you really must learn if you want to run one of these...
There's plenty of archived info/notes on Moparts, as well as other internet sources...generally the sixpack carbs will "run" right out of the box, after you check/set fuel level, and properly set up the linkage, after that you need to learn how to tune the carbs to YOUR engine's characteristics

Yup, don't mess with them new and they will work right out of the box. Then they need to be tuned, it's a lot of work swapping carbs while tuning them.

Thank you for all the advice/suport, I guess if I knew what jets to start out with on the center carb, that would be the most help because in braking in the engine I don't want it too rich or too lean....the carbs I have were ordered for a 340. I guess the rest I can figure out as I go.
this is what i'd do: put some 64 jets in the center carb and make sure there is a 6.5 power valve; remove the lead caps on the end carbs that cover the idle adjustment screws and back out 3/4 turn from the seated position. float levels will be the biggest point of contention no matter what type of holley carb you use. for initial start up i adjust the float (bowl positioned upside down) to where the parting line or solder joint lines up with the bottom of sight hole (with bowl inverted this will be the top of the hole as you look at it) and then go 1/4 turn more.

Mine worked extremely well right out of the box on a mild 440. I think they had 64's a 6.5 PV and plain (un-colored) springs. I got lucky and didn't even have to adjust the floats. All I did was turn the mixture screws all the way in and back them out 1 turn. Of course you will wantto adjust these once the motor is running and warmed up.
