I've been looking for one for days now and have burned up a lot of time on the internets. I need one AT LEAST three feet long but can't find anything over 18". Can anyone give me a lead? I've looked at HF, on woodworking forums, log home forums, and body work forums. The kind I need has the needles that copy the profile of the surface pressed against. Any help appreciated!

A curve template wont work? if not then you can get a bunch of these as they connect to each other http://www.micromark.com/8-Inch-Plastic-Contour-Gauge-with-Interlocking-Ends,9578.html

nah, the spline won't work. the angles where the logs sit on top of each other are too tight. The little ones with interlocking ends, though...that might work, and for a lot less money than i was expecting to have to spend. Thanks
