What's the proper color to plate them?

Thanks

I don't know the correct OEM plating of these pieces either, but I want to know too.

I know some people said that Joules did this work in the past, unfortunately, Joules in Canada is no longer with us. Does anyone know who else may be doing this work? I heard that maybe Joules associate may be doing this again? Does anyone do this plating work? Who does it the best if there's a choice?

Thanks,

Mark

Use a metal blackening such as eastwoods kit. They should turn out a dark brownish color. Or duplicate it with a combination of misting of spray bombs. Here's what it should look like. Some guys have them Parkerized or Black Zink. Here's what it should look like.

If you want them perfect PM "ACR2000". He took over Jules legacy if I remember right. The pics I displayed were Jules work before he passed on.

You did the hood latch/ lock for my car too. I could not be happier with the result, no difference between Jules work and yours.

A must for the original restored car.

Brown dichromate I believe, blackening agent from Eastwood isn't correct for latch
