Should I run a return from the fuel pressure regulator back to the fuel cell? What is the benefit? If I do what size line should I do? The line from my cell to carb is -8 / 1/2". The car is pretty much drag strip only. Thanks.
Yes, it helps the pump run cooler and quieter, #6 size line will be fine.

I like the return from the front(at the reg).. keeps cooler fuel up near the carb.. but I always run a return.. most pump companies will tell you to run the same size on the return that the supply is... reason why.. to make sure you dont develop too much pressure in the return and have a hard time adjusting the pressure

Depending on the pump, you may need a -8 return as well. I tried to run my BG220 with -8 feed/-6 return, and I could not regulate it below 10psi at the carb, too much restriction in the return.
