Hi,
in a 1964 Dodge Polara
Can you fit the stock fuel tank with relocated springs - into the rails ?
I would prefer to run a stock tank for daily use
Will Caltracs work with this ?
see following pics
thanks,

Tex thats gonna be tight if it works. I know my tailpipes are right up at my frame rail and of course my springs are out away from the frame rails as they are in stock location. I will go out in the garage and try to get a pic for you tomorrow and a good look at it. Ron

Tex do you still want me to get a pic of it on my car ? I forgot to go out in the garage and take the pic the other day and I am sorry. My memory is not as good as it used to be. But I can gladly do it tomorrow with no problem ? Let me know and again I am sorry I forgot. Ron

You may need to grind to width the front spring that is rolled flat where the cal trac swings on the front.I had to.

Tex let me know if this helps. I am having trouble getting the other pics to download to my host site. My car is all stock as the springs are in stock location and the wheelwells are all stock. Everything is in stock location and these are TTI 3" tailpipes. I will try to get the other pics working when I can. Sorry for the delay but I have had alot of knee and back trouble the last week or so. You can just see the framerail on the drivers side near the end of the tailpipe as the tailpipe actually is a tad lower then the framerail. Ron

I wanted you to see how the pipes come out as this is how they were stock as far as I know but of course these are 3" tailpipes. But they kind of drop a tad to be sorta alongside and below the frame rail and you can sorta see it some in this pic. Because at the very back the pipe kinda comes up a tad and then has the turndowns like the stock pipes were. Ron

Here is the best pic I found that you can see of how the tailpipes are made and run. Ron

You can see some in this pic how the 3" TTI tailpipe kinda runs below the frame rail. Course factory tailpipes are smaller so they may not have looked like they run as low as these do. You can imagine for yourself how tight it will be with the leaf springs moved in to be on the frame rail ? Ron
