You can but not completely. You still have to lube the shafts.

When I converted to pushrod oiling in my Hemi I restricted the oil to the heads and plugged the unneeded squirt holes in my Landy rockers.

Take care,
Rick

if your running roller lifters and the appropiate valve springs, above 600 lbs open, I wiouldn't restrict the oil to the rocker arms at all The oil does help cool the valve springs especially at or above 2000 RPM The real concern should be getting the oil back into the pan unrestricted

Unless your running Jessel or T/D individual shaft rockers why would you want pushrod oiling? We would rather fab some type of priority oiling to the rockers or use spray bars before going the pushrod oiling. If you loose one lifter you can loose all your topend oiling very quickly.Oiling through the shafts give you a volume of reserve oil in the shafts.
