Time...... i need about 36 hours in a day to get stuff done.
I just got my piece of steel back from the machinest (bored the hole for the bearing retainer), that is the beginning of my adapter plate for the 833 4-speed to the 143 tooth bellhousing. All this so i can run the magnum style flywheel fot the injection crank sensor down the road. Also need to decide if im going to sell my A-body 4speed and look for a b-body one or use my parts around here to create a B-body one (change mainshaft and tailshaft)

Well, i got the frame of the tonneau cover and the underside of the cover painted. Tommorow i will reattach the frame and hopefully get the final coat on the topside, then install for real. This ispartof the reason for not driving because i need help lifting the cover on and off the truck---just no where else to store it in the meantime. Also got my bigger throttle body on the dakota, but having some problems as per another post..... Oh, and we got some packing done---i dont know where im going to put all of this stuff

All I did this weekend was adjust the valves, and degree the cam in (I didnt have a dial indicator when I put the cam in a few weeks ago)..it was 3 degrees advanced from specs...made a big difference in mid range!! Oh, and I put a new set of plug wires on the 'ol slant too....all this is on my driver slant six truck.... I'd put it up against a stock 318 truck anyday now! I also did more packing of shop stuff...Peppermint was here Fri nite, and he thinks I still have a long row to hoe before I am really ready to move.... O.G.

Yeah, admittedly I really like it here, however between money (it's better here), and health, not to mention the massive amount of stuff to get rid of, it has taken me awhile to be ready to finish the move. O.G. but I am bound and determined to get er done!

While I am curious to see how people are doing from time to time, lets try and keep the threads going with relative stuff to the original posting. I think we need to open a "General Discussion" thread for this stuff. I keep clicking here and the 440 thread for new info about trucks and keep getting info about lif and times of members. I am not attacking anyone here so please nobody take it that way, just trying to make a friendly suggestion.

I am moving a bunch of my truck stuff next weekend, and more shop equipment too...using my Bro-in-law's CTD truck, and pulling a trailer...one more truck and trailer load, and then a U-Haul, and I should be done.....it has been a year of little loads.....and no, no firm job yet, been saving to be able to take time and look for one I really want...something automotive related in sales...tires, or mebbe a service writer's position??/ who knows? No offense taken on the off topic thing....seems like we all get off topic from time to time, and this and the 440 thing are how some members have kept up with one another, admittedly. I am not opposed to a general discussion thread. O.G.
