Stock suspension A body Intermittently spins on the hit. Running 19 pounds. Go up or down? Car went 1,66, 1.65, then 1.79 in elims last night. Same technique, leave at 1500 off foot.

What Drag Radials are you referring to Street Drag Radials or Slicks Drag Radials? On my Street Legal Nitto's 305 Drag Radials I run 18 lbs last time next time I get the chance(plan on going to a T&T) I will lower the air pressure by a 1/2 pound at a time to see if it helps.A trick I have found on my Street Drag Radials is they will hook better if I put put 10-15 miles of hi-way driving on them and get them good & Hot. PS With the Street Legal Drag Radials it is more important to have the correct rim width than with a slick.

It's a Hoosier drag radial/ slick. Just two grooves. Lowered to 17.5 from 19. Moved laugh rpm up 500 rpm and netted personal best in this car 11.84 with 1.65 60 foot. Gonna leave it alone and see I can get some consistency now

I worked my way down fro 22 to 17-18 in my 325's last time out, seemed to work good.
Might head to to Milan tomorrow for some T&T...going to try out a 950 and going to play with timing

I run my 255 M/T's at 18 lbs. 1.63 short time is what I typically see on a good run.

Every car will want something different... if you have 2000 lbs on the back it WILL take more pressure to hold the same surface area... vs 800 lbs on the back

I had 17 in mine when it went on the bumper at monster mopar. And like Andy said you can go to most x275 or ultra teams and they will be in the 17-18 psi range. It doesn't seem the stiff side walls care about how much you car weights.

I managed to get the 60 ft as good as 1.639 with air at 17.5 pounds, which is good for a heavy 11.80 car basically, but it's far from repeatable pass after pass. Car has currently a big rake to it( 24 inch tall tires that were on the front when I bought it).And battery is still in front. Gonna put 26 inch tire on front and move battery over winter. With low power of car, I get the feeling rear tire is kind of skidding and not planting well. The above stuff should help, but might need better shocks too.

Yup, I would start working on the suspension...my car is going 1.43's now on that same Hoosier drag radial tire with 18-19 psi and repeats like a broken record.
