Hey gang...

Going off the beaten path here that someone may have gone down this road. I just got this car but don't have the lug nut key for this lock nut........... I'm running out of ideas on how to get the bloody thing off....... Any suggestions?

I haven't been able to find this particular set of lug nut locks online...

Snap on and others make universal sockets to get locking lugs nuts off.

Air hammer and chisel bit in the direction to loosen lug... Put thick rags around the wheel and use caution.

maybe the picture is deceptive.
it looks like you could grab it with vice grips.

Any reputable tire shop can knock it out quick. Or you can buy what they use, I think they're called gator grip. They run across this all the time

Looks like the locks they used to sell at the local parts stores back in the day... I may even have a set sitting in the garage yet. I usually do the air chisel route myself.

Thanks guys..
I was looking to see if there were any basic garage tools I could use..

1. Don't have an air chisel
2. don't want to beat it with a chisel and hammer and risk really messing up the wheel finish

3. I'm going to try

Access Tools also makes a tool for removing locking lugnuts. Google "aet-eo"

All you need:

The pins will likely slide in far enough to get to the cuts in the nuts.
