I modified steel 6-pack baseplate for StageV intake and Edelbrocks. Fits under the hood on my -71 B-body with airgrabber.

Hemi Ragtop,
I asked Ray Barton about using Holleys on my 528. He told me he could do it, but it required lots of work; carb mods and linkage issues. He didn't recommend it for my application. Using his std formula we got 704HP using the Stage V and two Edelbrocks. Rick Cassell sells the fuel line(#HO300 Hemi fuel line kit that looks factory but fits Edelbrocks with Stage V spacing. $165 when I bought it.
Barton milled 1/2inch off my Stage V intake to buy me some hood clearance (71 Barracuda, Schumaucher mounts, Rallye hood). The Stage V is taller. Dominic did a good comparison vs the Mopar 2x4 when it came out. The intake milling, plus the FHO dropbase barely offset the Schumacher height increase. I have 3/4 max clearance underhood.

If your not a purist, try the Indy modman intake with two Edelbrock carbs and there is two plastic adapters to step up from the small diameter hemi carbs to the larger Edelbrocks.
