I'm trying to install an amd left quarter on a 68 roadrunner. The window channel won't line up with original roof. See pic. Anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions?

Looks like the quarter isn't bent as well as original in the window opening area. May need to cut and add some metal.

Everyone seems to thing amd is a fix all and the easiest way, but I try and keep as much original metal as I can to avoid these issues.

I cut about two inches of roof off to make fitment of quarter easier. I am going to put an amd roof on as well.

I just thought some had put one of these on before and had some advice.

Not only does the angle of the new quarter not match the old roof but it appears to be crooked as well.

That's why they make body hammers and dollies...

Yes, I've seen several AMD quarters like that. It's a fairly easy fix.
Best that you noticed it now and not after it's welded in place.

You'll want to make sure your trim fits the corner and roof line before paint... and it won't fit the corners without work, been there, done that
