69 b-body non rallye dash. If I am looking up to the back of my flasher switch from under the dash there are 4 vertical blade connectors (2 across and 2 down 2x2) coming out of the switch. the plug from the wiring harness can go on in either of 2 ways with the red wire on the lower left post or the upper right post (again viewed from back of switch from under the dash. which is correct? connector also has a rib on 1 side, but this does not act as a key when inserting connector... my guess is this rib is suppose to be on the steering column side of the switch?

wiring diagram isn't useful as orientation of switch can't be determined.

in the off position- all the blades are not connected.

when on- the are all connected- so no real position is needed onto it.

I suspected that that may be the case, but figured always safest to ask/confirm with electronics...
