Sorry to hi-jack but I often wonder what happened to my old '65 Bel 1 post car that I sold back in early '08. A guy down in South Jersey bought it from me with two truckloads of parts including an original A990 radiator.
Sold it as a shell on a wooden dolly, painted SS1 Ivory. (Looked like Jack Goodrich's car
Goodrich Bel 1) All the trim holes were filled, including the left side rear view mirror. I did kind of a dumb thing and drilled some holes on the top of the inner fenders for Dzus fastener brackets. Was originally from east of San Francisco. Was mostly rust free except for the pass side floor that had some pinholes.
Before the weight loss thread, I was really interested in making the car lighter. Had a 'glass AWB dash for it and glass hood with correct A990 scoop. Delete this and that, etc. Couple other things here and there.
Was going to be a street machine with a wedge in it. Sold it before completion but would love to see where its at.
