Who built those headers?...LOL
Just kiddin ya Pokey, That is the very reason I am saving for a Vintage air or similar unit for my big block truck (they are all inside the cab)...box is fried!...I did a heater box plate on the firewall,as I don't have a heater box right now.
Tape might work,not sure.
How bout some header wrap?
O.G.

Went to a swap meet today, not really any good truck stuff there. This week looksa little slower for the wife and i, so maybe we can get the old 360 out of the truck and have the new one in by the weekend if were lucky. I bought a carb intake for the magnum motor, but am following a thread on the Q&A board about fuel injection seeing i have all those parts too---maybe next year for that though.

For the sake of keeping the truck running and so we can drive it this year (dont forget i have 2 other projects listed in my sig), im just going to carb it for now. Im still researching the F/I stuff and paitiently waiting and watching the Mopar Action article. The motor is basically a swap in, if you have a 360 like me, you need to get the weighted magnum flexplate or flywheel for which ever trans your running. Dont forget if your going to a 360, the left mount bracket is different, but available at the dealer for minimal $$$. Other than that for a carb application, just swap it right in. Im using that crosswind RPM Air gap copy intake from ebay, found a place that had it $150 shipped.

But, at the rate things are going this week, i'll be lucky to just get the old motor out, it seems the Model T has taken priority this week.

I would love to add fuel injection to my truck, but trying to figure out the computer and electronics...I don't know. Edelbrock does have a complete f/i system, but it's $2500! Time to play the lottery!
