I bought a 82 Club Cab 2wd 1/2 ton truck today from a kid who was going to take it in for junk. It was bought new by the Michigan Fishing and Wildlife Game according to all the paper work.

ITs a 318 truck with headers now but it has a top loader style 4 speed transmission. Im going to use the motor but is there any value in the four speed and pedals?

The wheels are all the small bolt style, not the big 5 1/2 on 5 style. Are the disk brake parts worth saving?

The body is shot! but its got some small parts (tail lights, side marker lights, all the glass is nice and maybe the front bumper.

Im not into trucks but wondered what I should save from the scrap yard that someone could use.

common 8 1/4 or 9 1/4, same as the trans.

IMO the quarter windows and seal are worth the most money.. Someone might want the split bench seat.

Is that trans the one with creeper gear? Wouldnt work in a car right?

Save all the 4 speed stuff. Seems like guys around here are constantly looking for that stuff

definatly the four speed stuff. wiring if it's uncut.windshileds are getting hard to find around here.
If the upper control arms are solid grab them.
