Must be top secrete so I will guess they were bought as Speedmaster (Procomp) cnc bare heads (190cc instead of 170) with seats opened up to 2.08 valve size and throat sized accordingly. I would also guess they were treated to a hugh's type pinch treatment (big mouth) with off-set rockers now being needed. Roof raised, floor lowered to get 220 PLUS cc intake port volume. Chamber worked to help make the best of a BAD design. Its a shame we had to resort to imported head castings to accomplish it and an Edelbrock head can come close BUT at double the casting costs. Just a guess but those are my thoughts. Time will be the test to see if the seats and valve guides hold up for the weekly racer or street car.
1970 Duster Edelbrock headed 408 5.984@112.52 422 Indy headed small block 5.982@112.56 mph 9.42@138.27
