69 should be black/yellow.

Also, if it was an early 70's plate it would be 3 number/3 letter combo. That plate looks to have numbers last.

The tag decoder is a good tool, but should be used along with other
select sources of information. In '69 G33 was a LH chrome remote
mirror. No racing mirrors until '70.
