With the help and guidance of MoparRon, I picked up a '40 Plymouth pickup cab and doors right after I moved to California in 2006. Work officially began on the truck in 2011, but life, health and school get in your way. The truck has made progress, stalled, more progress... you get the idea. I'm finally to the point where I am working to get the truck done so it can be used as a daily driver. Anyways, following along as I actually make progress on the truck this time around. Action! This is the earliest shot I have access to on this computer. We had already mounted the pickup to the chassis and mounted the front clip. Customizing the center section. Motor/tranny mounts installed. Trimming the snubber to make room for airbag plates. All fitted. New Floor. Working early tomorrow, so I'm off to bed. But expect updates that should bring us to the current status of the project.

R. each state has different ways to get a lost title, you need to check with yours to see how to do it.. here in CA you can get paper work going with a bill of sale and a vin #

You know I'm only thinking about you here, I'm trying to help you reduce your stress level concerning the title situation, and the fact that poor truck has been waiting so long to get rebuilt. In IL, you can get a bonded title if there is a serial number, a bill of sale, a written wholesale value by a licensed IL car dealer, and a Surety bond. Gene
