Hi everyone I was just trying to clean up the wiring on my 1972 duster and I have a question on what a wire all runs to. I have the manual and I can not find in the wiring diagrams I have where it shows this wire coming to and from the fuse block. The fuse block is labeled brake and LP for the circuit in question. It looks like the blue/white wire power is coming from the ignition switch. The diagram does not show this wire going to the fuse block. I can tell you that it goes to terminal 1 of the instrument cluster. It also goes to a bulb (was not hooked to anything) and to what looks like a relay. The wire splices and goes to 5 wires just to the left of the gauges in the wiring harness. I would just like to know where they all go without having to take a bunch apart to find out. Thanks

Some of those are very wrong... DAMHIK!

If you have a FSM, that's your best source.

Maybe that is the problem. I do have a FSM but it is on a cd and it will not play on my new windows 8 computer it says it is the wrong bit version. I have a print off diagram but it is just like the ones on mymopar and it seems to be wrong.

I knew mymopar was missing a very few circuits but I was not aware that they had errors. I've used it alot & have had perfect luck so far on the circuits I did trace out but I will be alert

There are missing diagrams at mymopar (don't ask me how I know), but they are almost all Motor or National Service. Those are very generic and generally don't include optional circuits.

In 1973 the dark blue wire to a lamp is the seat belt warning lamp.

Thanks for the idea. I had to look in a 1973 fsm and that wire does go to the seatbelt warning system.
