Folks, I could use a little help on the power windows on my 167K mile 300M. I have lost all function on the windows. I can find NO power on any wire coming into the drivers main window/window lock switch in the arm rest. I have power at the proper circuit breaker. What wire carries the power to the drivers main window switch plug? Any ideas on what else to look for? Thanks in advance!

The if I read the diagram right is the heavy tan.Ill bet a dollar to a donut its broke in the space between the door and frame.I repaired a lot at work. You will have to pull the cover off of the bundle in that space.Rocky

Thanks guys! The diagram and info are appreciated! Before I posted I gave a quick look at the wiring in the door jamb, but tonight hope to give it a thorough look. I concur that the tan wire is the one to concentrate on! THANKS AGAIN!

I just blew a 10a fuse today on my '01 300m. Never had a problem before. No interior lights, radio or power door locks. Could this be the same problem, harness passing into the door? Refused and all is back to normal (for now).

Thanks again guys! You were dead right. The tan wire was not really cut, but WAS split, probably pulled, completely in half, in the door jamb. Fixed, back in action. THANKS AGAIN.

I have fixed a bunch of harness thru the door jam issues too, and it's a real pain. probably the one wiring repair jobs I really hate......
