Very confusing, does anyone know the correct silver color closest to OEM for the front bumper filler pan? Why do some claimed factory original 330s, 440, and Polaras have body colored filler pans and others have silver painted pans? What goes on here? What is factory correct? Also why do some have the pentastar trim on the lower right front fender and other do not? Which is correct?

My all original 1963 Polara Convertible. No pentastar. Don't know why.

Silver filler pan on my car. Sorry don't know the paint code.

My 330 was an original /6 car and had the silver filler panel.

Can't help with the exact color.

Personally, I think they look better body color.

The original right fender was badly mangled and a bondo sculpture so I'm not much help there...

Pentastars on passenger side front fender become available in February 1963. Cars built prior that don't have them.
