Mine is leaking so I would like to get the correct one if possible. 67 Coronet 500 9.610 @ 139.20 mph 67 Coronet 500 (street car) 14.82 @ 94 mph 69 GTX (clone) - build in progress......

Quote: I like the boot seals that the later transmissions use. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131071796547?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT You can't use that without modifying the dipstick. when I put together a 727 I makes sure the dipstick hole in the trans and the dipstick are oil free , put on the o ring the tube and put a big bead of copper type RTV around the tube below the o ring , put the tube it and let it sit over night in it's secured position , no leaks .
