I'm considering picking up a set of Edelbrock 61779 heads for use on a 408 motor I'm planning to build for my truck. Please share any experiences you have encountered when using these heads on a Dodge magnum 5.9 short block.

Via part number, I don't know what head you have, but, I'll say that it better be the Magnum head and not the LA head.

I have read very good results and satisfaction with these heads, ported or not. Though, at 408 cubes, I think you may want to port them out a bit.

Yes, 61779 is the Edelbrock head for the magnum small block. Just curious as to folks who have used them and any experiences (any bolt-on issues, etc.) they can share about them.
