That retract antenna is a nice find!

Pat this build is absolutely top notch. I can't get over how well executed every thing is on this build. The planning and workmanship is amazing.

Thanks for showing your work.

So black it’s hard to see the grill frame to core support filler I made. I think it looks like something the factory would have made and not to custom looking.

Will there be a separate switch for the Antennae of will it extend and retract when the radio is on/off?
My dad had a 68 New Yorker with power antennae and there was a switch on the dash near the radio.

The new but original looking stereo has a power antenna output.
Thanks

Finished the exhaust with the install of the S/S tips. Also installed the grill and finished the headlight wiring. Then the aluminum & carbon fiber bumper mounts, and valance. And started working on the front brake air intakes and mounted the horns under the headlights
Thanks
Pat

My LO horn is bad, looking for a replacement Prestolite horn. Please see picture for part numbers. I’m not concerned with date code but would like to have the same horn.
Thanks
Pat

Just the grainy texture that is the issue? If the horn still works I'd just work the surface smooth with primer/sanding and repaint it.

Sorry, my mistake. I see they sell reproduction horns in sets, but they appear to be the Spartan type.

I have read you can get a stuck horn working again by spraying WD40 into it.

Yes I think classic industries sells them. But I really like to keep the same style horn as the old one that still works.
Thank you!

It appears the horns can be serviced if you want to dig into it vs buying another. Might be possible to soak it in Evaporust to clean the contacts up as well?

Replaced the vacuum canisters with electric motors to operate the headlight doors.
Thanks
