Somewhere in South Phoenix to narrow it down a bit. This is the second street racing fatality in just a few weeks.
The first was a freak accident where one car traveling at high speed went through a block wall and killed a landscaper who was working on the others side.

It`s not my "view" it`s a FACT told directly to "me" from an officer giving me "permission" and if that makes me a "bad guy" what does that make him. It saddens me that people die and if I died in a race w/out hurting anyone else so be it...........died doing what I love but it`s the families that pay not the individual and for the last time "Street racing" is NOT "Drag racing" so it should have no bearing on the sport............
You know damn a well its NOT LEGAL... and you also know that city hall would fire that cop if they knew what he said IF he did

Not that it makes it any better but even the local Sheriff`s don`t mind us "older" guys racing as long as it`s in areas w/no cross traffic or like in my vid in the middle of nowhere............ So sorry to hear this............
What ever your views, I think it's our jobs not to let one give the other a bad name. Any negative publicity on an already dying sport is not a good thing.
you can beat that drum about it not being drag racing if you like. got news for you it is drag racing. maybe illegal drag racing on the street but it's still drag racing.

Racing on the street has been around since the first two cars got paired up and someone thought his was faster than the other guys. As long as there is free will and automobiles it's going to happen. There will be accidents and fatalities. Same as there is in most sports or activities. There are worse activities to participate in. But just as anything else in life there a those that use a little common sence and those that are idiots. The idiots are the ones you generally see on the news.
I say those that have never participated in a illegal activity on the street should throw the first stone.
Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

I get it Quick and that wasn`t my point............my point was that it should have ZERO affect on sanctioned drag racing that`s all. I will continue to do it untill something changes my mind...... And I can almost guarantee you it`s the younger kids killin each other not us older guys although it still doesn`t fix it. Peace!
it has absolutely nothing to do with sanctioned drag racing
