After seeing the BGR event article in Chrysler Power last month,I got a call from Texas. It was Gary who's 65 Dodge is the center fold picture on page 24/25 and article on page 26.He was excited to see the BGR article at the same time his article appeared in the same magazine. He wished he had known about the article so he could have added that his car was owned by BGR.The title is still open and in my name. The history of the car is very interesting. It was bought local(Greensburg Pa.)new in 65, sold to a guy in Mkeesport Pa.,sold to me,then bought from me by a guy in Appolo Pa.,he sold it to a guy in Greenville Pa. who sold it to a guy in Texas who traded it to the current owner.
What a history

Absolutly,I sold it to Bill Heasly around 1975/76 with a X-Ramed Hemi.I was street driving it.Bill ran mid to high tens at Keystone.

Here is the history as best I can recall.

Bobby Celonie bought it new in 1965 from a dealer in Greensburg Pa.
Bobby sold it to a guy in McKeesport Pa.
I bought it from the guy's family(he had passed)
I sold it to Bill Heasly
Heasly sold it a guy named Cousins in Greenville Pa.
Cousins sold it to Eric Dickey in Texas
Dickey traded it to Gary the current owner.
This is about what I can remember. and I'am told that the title is still in my name from when I street drove it and it's been a race car ever since.

Bob, A lot of the guys on here say that if you don't have pictures, then it didn't happen. But don't worry, I believe you Bob!

Hey Bob this is VERY off-topic but what ever became of the old Hemi car you were documenting in your shop? Was the build finished and what's up with it?

I have tons of pictures of that and most all the cars on the wall in the shop.

John, the car was finished and the owner,Jim Bane is enjoying driving, attending shows and crusies. It is tucked away in his garage just 5 miles from the shop waiting for driving weather.

P.S. We have documented everything and yes we have pictures.
