OK guys doing some research for a project, and can't seem to find any info regarding BF Goodrich Radial T/A solid white lettered tires in the 15" variety, say 60 series...what I need to now is when the earliest known date (year) of production took place for these tires, for having these on a day 2 "resto" would be correct?

Thanks
Mike

Believe about 1972 or 3 put a set on my then 69 Vette,,,this after wishing radials for the car,,,had installed Firestone so called V1 radials. Firestone likely replaced the tires some 20 times before giving up and returning my dough.

Car would pull left, car would pull right and thru all the replacements would vibrate terribly because of out of round conditions. The TA's, I had a single warranty replacement

Everyone should be aware that even today they are only an "S" rated tire,,,,111 mph,,,,another option is Cooper/Mickey Thompson in 15's. They are rated at an astounding 118. Another option are Avon's,,,believe they are"V" or "Z" rated,,,,but at close to 500 bucks a pop.

So the TA's for many of you,,,at the end of a quarter mile,,,you know the drill
