i hardly ever see anything on here about 81 to 90 2wd trucks am i just missing it or are they not popular because they are not real pretty to look at? i have an 81 2wd sb that i cant live without 440 /727 9 1/4 391 gears auburn posi, any one else like me on here?

I just bought two of them. Both '85 crewcabs. Navy surplus. $700 for the pair.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But by 1993, their weren't many people beholding Dodge trucks. Dodge had only 8% of the full-size truck market, and the only reason they still had that much was because of the Cummins diesel.

cuz there 81-93's.
really nothing special about'em except for a very minor few. i think92-93's were best IMO.

I've got a 83 318 4spd od 83/4 rearend lowered 3" front 1" rear. Maybe someday a 440 swap.
IMO Original 440 trucks are just cooler( if that's a word)

mine is of course not an original 440 but it sure was a great addition to the truck the funny thing is i only did the swap because the motor came with the 727 trans i was tired of shifting gears then i did the manual valve body so im shiftin gears anyway but i got the motor trans for some trade work it cost me about 65 bucks seems like a fair trade i'll have some pics next week
