It seem the noses on the afterMarket ones are what is better. Billet instead of cast, helps with kick back and breaking starter nose.

ThumperI agree . My reman mini from Advanced has been in over 15 years.It cranks my 12.5 440 like a /6.There is a difference in minis.Some are stronger cranking.I run one for a 360 Truck from say 98 or 99.Paid a lot for my reman back then.It was 75 bucks.Have a 440 S

I agree with that also.Just take the adapter off.I cut my big stud down a bit so it cleared even more.Man people like to buy stuff they dont need.Even on a tight block that touches just cut the stud a bit or grind the block a tad.Ive installed at least 15 and only had clearance problem on one.Rocky
