Finally got them off with an impact wrench, but just barely - really needed a bigger, heavier duty impact wrench than my Sears. If you don't see two dolphins, you need a vacation.

It cleaned off all the years of grease and road grime. That is when I found the tack welds! Save yourself a headache and clean them first. Look for welds.
