Brian,

What can you get out of them with a 2.08" valve?
I just picked up a set too. I got 440 cubes to feed with a Tunnel Ram too.

I think I can still hand port a W2 to 295+ with a standard 2.02", even though I hadn't done a set in 20-hundred years. I got to know those old oval ports pretty good back in the day.

Hello all!! Butch "Warren" Elkins, who design that head back in the day!!! For Bob Glidden Arrow Pro Stock, he ported the intake port to a RECTANGULAR Shape!!! You can get lots of cross sectional area!!! I do not remember the flow numbers !!! to long ago!!! Sorry do not have any pix's either! That should be good for bigger cid you guy's are building!! Good luck!!

Just curious as to why you want CNC only. Anybody can make a CNC program as its just a copy of a hand ported head. Now lies the question. Was it a good hand ported head or a bad hand ported head?

Hand porting just take a lot of time. There are some guys that are doing the CNC porting on these heads getting 330 to 345, I don't need that much. I just want them to get done and not wait 6 mounts.

Max port work with a 2.08 valve gets you 320's on my bench, 4.030 bore.
If it's race only, I'll do a 50° valve job on them and drop down to a 2.060 size. Fits better in the available port.
