Fellas - As I've mentioned in another thread, I've begun to restore my '71 GTX. It's a black on black 2 fender tag car with some neat options, and it deserves to be restored correctly. This is my first attempt at a full resto, so feel free to offer any advice. It's my intent to keep this thread going until the car is done, but I'm not going to guess how long that will take. I'll try to attach some before and after pictures. Thanks, Scott

Had a family of critters living under the back seat; the car was filled with hickory nuts. At least they didn't chew up the broadcast sheet.
Wow, that's a miracle the b-cast sheet survived.

You're right - the car is quite solid. As for the broadcast sheets, there were two in the car - - one for my car and another for a 71 B body built just a tad later than mine. Both are St Louis cars built in December.
Thanks,
Scott

You have an excellent car to restore. A factory black, 4-speed, dana, air grabber GTX , and it looks pretty solid. The first total resto I did was a GF7 71 GTX about 17 years ago . You will have a heck of a nice car when you are done. Thanks, Greg. I still need to order up a Music Master AM radio from you one of these days.
