Saw the Lokar 4150 on TV. Looks nice. will this work with an Edelbrock LD4B intake with an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor on a 318/column shifted A904?

Yes they are both square bore carbs so they will both fit on that square bore flange type manifold. May I ask what is going on with the eddy that is making you want to spend the money for the holley? My 1406 on a DD 318 works flawless. I did have to richen the jets/rods a bit out of the box

RR, I think he is asking if the Lokar linkage that is shown on and designed for a 4150 Holley style carb will work on his Ebrock carb. I don't know the answer but my SWAG is no. Here is what he is talking about. Doesn't say anything about Ebrock just 4150 Holley. http://www.lokar.com/product-pgs/new-products/newproduct-pgs/4150series-for-street.html

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Answer to the OP question is NO! 4150 style carbs are Holleys with two metering blocks.
the Edelbrock AFB style is a lot different, except for the fact that they are both square bore carbs.

Don't count on any linkage interchangeability.

I've got an Edelbrock LD4B intake and an Edelbrock 1406 600cfm carburetor that I want to install on my 1971 Dart Swinger with a 318 and console shifted A904.

I know the 2-bbl "kickdown linkage" will not work with the 4-bbl. I understand the "kickdown linkage" MUST be installed to prevent transmission damage.

I was hoping to find all the Lokar parts necessary to perform the 2-bbl to 4-bbl swap. Lokar's website is not real clear.

Has anyone used Lokar "throttle" and "kickdown linkage" components? If so, can you share the Lokar part number(s) necessary for the swap?

Thanks to all for your help!

Do also look at Bouchillon Performance.

I would not count on Lokar having anything that works out of the box. If you are set on running Lokar stuff, you will be modifying something.
