I bought a 70 440 6 PK engine 15 years ago and had it completely redone to the tune of $7,000. I`ve been cranking it by hand every so often to keep it loose. I`m now getting ready to install it and noticed my flat top pistons have a very slight curved line??? maybe from the exhaust vales??? ANY INFO would be grately appreciated.

IIRC the 6 pack pistons have 4 notches on the top

If your valves are already hitting the pistons DO NOT start your engine or you'll have bigger problems. Best bet would be to clay check the clearance and double check the cam installed timing.
