Finally getting somewhere. Been a while since I've posted. Got the frontend back together and just narrowed the rearend. I'll have pics of that coming soon. Goal is just to have it on its own wheels by the end of the year.

Looks good... I dont understand why you wouldnt just
change over to a strut front end unless its a class...
$2K gives you the front end and brakes and way lighter

And one day I will have that money. I already had bought the front brakes when I was going to do a 10" tire street car so I am going to follow that way. When I decide (if I decide) later down the road it will not be a problem doing the front clip and converting to strut. The chassis is based off a strut car from the firewall back.

Yea I should have done a bunch of stuff differently, but on a tight budget using stuff I have off the shelf. When I started this project I lost my job so been just trying to plug away with it. I figured a bigblock 66 dart convertible with a 10 pnt cage should be cool enough.

Oh
Your strut rods washers are on backwards. Also I believe you don't have the spacer/bushing in between the strut rod rubbers as there is a lot of space between your nut and cotter pin. With the washer turned around it should be almost against the cotter pin when tightened. Without the spacer/bushing in between the nuts will loosen up.
Ask me how I know !!!
