What's the proper way to physically measure a TQ convertor?
From teeth to teeth or measure just the body of the convertor?
I'm looking at one that measures 9.5' on the body and a little under 12' across the teeth.
Thanks.

Sounds like a 9-1/2" Dynamic. You measure the body.

The 727 ring gear diameter will always be the same diameter but, when measured across the bowl, most converters won't actually measure their advertised diameter.
